    Description

    Vintage Plateau Tobacco Bag circa 1910-1920 in lovely condition. Likely Umatilla, Salish, Warm Springs or Nez Perce. It has beautiful faceted cut glass beads expertly laid down onto brain tanned buckskin that remains soft and supple. Floral pictorials are represented on both sides of bag. Cinch thong at throat of bag as well as a scalloped edge work at mouth opening. Bag is 7” x 11”. We will be offering a large private estate collection of Plains beadwork over the next several weeks.
